CA Update-Relaxations to file forms with ROC

Due to the ongoing pandemic of COVID-19 in India, MCA has further extended the timeline to file forms with the ROC vide two circulars, both dated June 30, 2021:

 

• Companies or LLPs are permitted to file forms (other than Forms CHG 1, CHG 4, and CHG 9) that would be due for filing with the ROC during April 1 to July 31, 2021, without any additional fees for delay, upto August 31, 2021 (available here).

 

• If a charge has been created or modified prior to April 1, 2021 and the timeline for filing the Form CHG 1 or CHG 9 has not expired, or if the charge has been created between April 1 to July 31, 2021, then the period beginning from April 1 to July 31, 2021, shall not be reckoned for the purposes of counting the number of days within which the aforesaid forms is required to be filed under applicable laws (available here).
